Barely the day starts and it’s evening
Barely it’s Monday and Friday is here already
… and the month is already over
… and the year is almost over
And already 40 or 50 or 60 years of our lives have passed
… and we have lost friends, family
… and realize it’s too late to go back
So, let’s try despite everything
To enjoy the remaining time
Let’s put some color in our grey
Let’s smile at the little things that’s put joy in our hearts
And despite everything
Let’s enjoy with serenity what time we have left
Let’s try to eliminate the afters…
I’m doing it after
Let’s say after
I’ll think about it after
We can’t leave everything to after
There’s only today…
It has been a year since I’ve written or even come home to my site, I was too busy seeing life with sorrow and indifference. I could not meditate not relax, nor create.
I’ve been unhappy and void, today I came here to reconnect with my writing and poetry and realize how long I’ve been away, something just surfaced and I know that maybe next year I’ll be fine.
Someone said to me not too long ago;
“Anger is sadness that has nowhere to go”
I’ll never forget that!
Wishing you all the blessings of the season and new year’s.

It was wonderful to stop here and see a post from you. It’s been a terrible couple of years for anyone who is sensitive to the vast swirl of feelings that seems to pervade the air. But these days are all we have, and they’re worth living with mindfulness of their gifts. Wishing you a wonderful 2022 full of love, joy, and peace.

In a few week’s time, I am going to be 70 years old. The last 35 years seem to have passed much faster than the first 35. Thank you for following my blog.
Best wishes, Pete.
