All We Have Lost

Feelings are like tides

Suddenly they overwhelm you

From nothing they become everything

And from everything they become nothing

When a wave floods a beach

Leaving something of itself

When it resides

Taking back what was brought in

Bringing something taking something

Time is taking from us

It will bring us

All that was lost and now is found
