  1. I have had a few cartoons published and some poems too. I did publish one cartoon book a decade ago. See it at top of my blog page [ powder blue cover]. It really was a prototype and have made many quality improvements in the cartoons since. I have a bank of over 500. Every cartoonist’s dream is to get published in the NEW YORKER mag. They have a file of rejected cartoons one can peruse. It is astonishing how much quality stuff exists and gives one a real sense of humility. I think almost all are very impressive. As far as syndication goes the market accepts two or three new cartoonists a year so it’s really near impossible to break in. Possibilities exist submitting to particular interest mag such as sports, fishing, camping, hobbies, boats and so on and creating cartoons for each selective audience of the mags has possibilities. I did sell a dozen or so to a baseball mag 15 years ago re only baseball subjects. Gotta go now as getting ready to attend the old old Presbyterian church down the road. Been doing that since my baptism 74 years ago.
