Have ever had that moment?
When someone asks if you’re ok, and you want to turn to them and tell them everything?
The words, the feelings, the truths are on the tip of tongue and all you want to let them all out and say no, you’re not ok.
You really need someone to hold you in their arms and tell you eventually things will be, ok… but you don’t.
You don’t tell them any of that and instead…
You just force a smile, lie, and tell them yes, yes, you’re ok.
Every time I visit any doctor the check-in nurse asks “How are you?” I want to reply ” Horrible and miserable. Why do you think I’m here you stupid witch ?” My second thought is “That’s really not a sensible or kind question to ask doncha think?” I hold my tongue on that too. I just say “Real sick.”

How True! I often want to answer the question, “NO> How much time have you got to listen?” ❤️️

I would love to tell someone how I really feel when they ask, but I always wonder are they asking only to be nice, hoping you won’t tell them your woes. Lately I just say Tired. LOL my main line is, I am great. My daughter is the only one who can read me when I lie. LOL Hummm to much like her mother…XX
