I’m slowly learning that even if I react, it won’t change anything, it won’t make people suddenly love me and respect me, it won’t magically change their minds. Sometimes it’s better to let things be, let people go, don’t fight for closure don’t ask for explanations, don’t chase answers and don’t expect people to understand where you are coming from.
I’m slowly learning that life is better lived when you don’t center it on what’s happening around you and center it on what’s happening inside you instead. Work on yourself and your inner peace and you’ll come to realize that not reacting to every little thing that bothers you is the first ingredient to living a happy and healthy life.
“Sometimes it’s better to let things be, let people go” true words of wisdome. Sometimes it’s not worth the fight. BTW, that frog with snails on its head looks like Princess Leia. 🙂

This is such a wonderfully profound understanding to come to. There is so much truth that in order to find peace without, the peace must be within. When we allow the inner turmoil and conflict to outwardly manifest with the world around us, we give power for negativity to be experienced.
But when we turn inward and look for the light and joy and peace and fulfillment that comes with being secure in who you are and where you are in the moment, you find that there is no reason to negatively react to the world without. The joy and pleasure of being within manifests as calm and comfort with being in the world without.

First, I love that picture, I have recently had to let my love for my brother and his wife finally dissolve and float away. No matter which act of kindness I gave to them, they gave me back grief. I feel sooo much better for finally saying I am done. They may not know this, but time will show them. There is no more guilt for not trying finally. Nice to feel free from that burden I was carrying.
