Everyday we interact with people we are not part of our everyday life. We see them at the market, or on the bus and at the post office. I do not know these individuals, they have a job, a life and a family. I exchange a greeting, we discuss the price of food or the weather. I connect, I share for one moment myself I feel I made a friend. Sometines I see them again and sometimes never more. But in that moment, we shared an impression of us. I felt free to be myself to know that this friend will not judge me or carry stories on twist my conversation. They in turn do likewise. There is a freedom and acceptance in sharing with strangers, no restrictions, no pre- fabricated ideas about you because of what someone else said.
The love I carry in me makes me who I am. Sometimes I love wisely, and at times poorly. I choose the actions. I do forgive but do not forget, as the saying goes. I learn and I evolve, I still cry over disappointments and let downs. But I rejoice on all lifts up I received from strangers who accepted me in that monent of sharing of eachother.
Love is a powerful emotion, imagine if it was the only one left in us…..
~Be what you preach….
~Let go and let God….
~If your cheek is slapped, offer them the other….
~If they curse you, bless them…..
~If they hurt you, forgive them…..
~If you see someone hurting, help them….
These are not religious advices but being a good human.
Let us do in the name of love.
Do your best to lighten up and live a more balanced life. Don’t expect disappiontment.
Positive expectations create positive results. Believe in dreams you want to create. Spending time with lighthearted people will help you be more helpful. Let no one steal your joy.
Lovely and very timely thanks 🙂
